Warning: Reasons not to prescribe medication!

The care home is too noisy and he gets aggressive

The school can’t teach her alongside other children because of her behaviours towards them; she will have to take medication or she’ll be excluded

She doesn’t like the person who she lives with

He likes to stay up late and there aren’t enough staff on the late shift, so we want everyone in bed by 9pm

He wakes up in the night and disturbs the sleep-in staff member

These reasons are not acceptable! Seek advice from an independent organisation, advocate or solicitor if a support provider or school are suggesting medication is used for any of these (or similar) reasons.
